Ever had something occur that, for the most part, was either positively horrible or just too boring to merit any thought or appreciation? Did you ever have another something occur which you thought might be the same, save for one spec of beauty that put the rest of it completely into perspective and seemingly infected it with something beautiful? This song is sort of a musical representation of that…in the sense that it was a really boring song save for about 5 seconds in the middle where the progression of the song dips down to a painful minor tonality and it just resonates with something that pours into the rest of the song. It’s done so in such a way that I subsequently have been unable to stop listening to it for the past 27 minutes.
