Leave it up to George Lucas to take what could be a pretty good story with great subject matter and turn it to shit.
Although, I must admit… Phantom Menace came out when I was still in elementary school…I like that one.
I would absolutely LOVE a movie about the Tuskegee black air fighters. I would eat it up. But I just can’t take another Lucas film with elementary dialogue, attempts at emotional appeal, simplistic plot or any of the works that Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith or Kingdom of the Crystal Skull bombarded me with. I’m not the film expert I’d love to be, so I’m not claiming that my assertions are the authority on the matter. But it’s going to take a little more than a few clips of emotional declarations made by Terrance Howard to make this worth the time of an adult movie-goer.
